Laura & Aubrey got married on September 17th. They had an intimate backyard wedding on family’s land, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Their love story…

“So two years ago my sister told me she was inviting her boyfriend’s best friend, Aubrey to the lake to celebrate her birthday with us. She was definitely trying to set us up…

Meanwhile, her boyfriend was texting Aubrey telling him about me.

We spent the whole evening talking and then ended up kissing at the end of the night! We got each other’s number and despite his best efforts… I ghosted him the next day.

A year later, my parents bought some property that had two houses on it. They rented one to me, and were looking for someone to rent the other house… so naturally, my sister, Sophia, suggested Aubrey and his brother.

I hadn’t spoken to Aubrey since the night we kissed a year before and now we he was my neighbor… on the same property.

Sophia moved in with me and me and Sophia and Aubrey and his brother hung out quite a bit. I finally told Aubrey I liked him. He told me he liked me too and then we didn’t talk for like 2 days. LOL.

About a week later we started dating! One night while dating, aubrey was helping me clean my house. We had music playing and aubrey grabbed me and started dancing with me.

Aubrey played that same song the night he proposed to me. He lined a dock with candles, played the song, and we danced. AFter a moment, he whispered some sweet promises and got down on the knee and popped the question!”
